Joe Stockwell

Joe Stockwell is a seasoned professional with a multifaceted career spanning technology, real estate development and social welfare. Beginning his journey as a lawyer, he transitioned into roles as a Corporate Development Executive with public technology companies including Apple and Exodus Communications, and later as an Owner/Operator of telecom infrastructure enterprises. His experience encompasses legal expertise, strategic corporate development, and hands-on operational leadership.

In addition to his professional work, Joe has been deeply involved in addressing homelessness and broader anti-poverty initiatives through his leadership roles at LifeMoves (former Board Chair), Tipping Point Community (current Board Member) and WeHOPE (current Board Member). As Board Chair of the LifeMoves Board of Directors during the pandemic, Joe helped drive the launch of innovative housing solutions, such as the LifeMoves Mountain View facility — a 100-unit modular interim housing project developed in partnership with Google, LinkedIn, and local governments, and projects in San Jose (Branham Lane – 204 units), Redwood City San Mateo County Navigation Center – 240 units) and Palo Alto (Dan Antonio Road – 88 units).
