Courtney Welch

Courtney Welch is an Oakland native, dedicated public servant, and community leader, currently serving on the Emeryville City Council and was appointed to serve as Mayor for 2024. With a background in housing advocacy, community engagement, and public affairs, she has been recognized as one of San Francisco Business Times’ 40 Under 40 for her impact across the Bay Area. Passionate about solving the housing crisis, Courtney works to create sustainable solutions for housing and community welfare throughout the East Bay.
