Too many families in Santa Barbara are raising children without the safety and stability of a home. DignityMoves is working to change that.
In this video, actress Meredith Baxter shares why the upcoming Family Village is so important: a 30-unit supportive housing community, each with bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens, designed to provide safety and stability for families experiencing street homelessness. With on-site wraparound services, parents and children will have the support they need to move forward.
With three communities already open in Santa Barbara County, serving nearly 600 residents, Family Village represents the next step in demonstrating that achieving Functional Zero unsheltered homelessness is possible.
